Why do people with Fibromyalgia have sleep problems

Finally found out why Fibromyalgia disrupts sleep patterns. Muscle spasms and twitches during the night disturb sleep just enough to keep us from getting into and staying in the deepest sleep cycle.  This makes a LOT of sense, doesn't it?

A lot of "Fibromites" also have Sleep Apnea. I do. I use a CPAP machine, but tonight I am going to take my muscle relaxant.

I have been trying to go no drugs -- I was able to go 3 days with 2 Advils but I was about to lose my mind. So much pain it was difficult to function.

Today I broke one of my 50 mg Tramadol pills in two. I took one part at about 9 in the morning and the other half at 3 pm. Seemed to work pretty well.

I really don't like taking medications, but even a slight difference in pain can be a major relief.
I won't take them at the same time. Tramadol OR Flexeril. Today I had Tramadol/Ultram in the day & I will have Flexeril at night.

Tomorrow I will tell you about PACING, and my new card system to get stuff done without crashing and burning. So far it is going well. I had one of the most productive days in recent memory. I wasn't pain free but I still managed pretty well. So check in tomorrow! It's late.
