When your hair hurts at the roots when you move it

My daughter braided a small section of my hair on the top of my head this morning. After removing the hair elastic, my hair hurt so badly. It felt like a really bad sunburn on my scalp, and like I was getting thousands if papercuts on my head.

I've had this happen before. I used to think my scalp was just dry, but now I'm confident it is part of Fibromyalgia.
