A round up of my issues and Fibromyalgia related symptoms this month. What's typical, what's new, and what I'm doing about it.
We're not done with January yet of course, but I have a rheumatologist visit tomorrow, so I'm looking for the "Greatest Hits" of January so far so I can print it out to share with her.
Jan 1:
I was just getting to sleep when a sudden jerk of my left arm woke me
up. I get twitches etc quite often but this was a major jerk of the
arm...almost hit myself in the face.
Jan 2:
It took a lot of talking by my husband to get me out of bed. I was so
sleepy and so heavy. Mainly heavy. My arms and legs felt like they were
made of lead. Last night I took 1 Benadryl and a Tylenol (I had taken
Tramadol earlier in the day). I usually take Tramadol rather than Tylenol. Tylenol use is rare, but for some reason I felt that Tylenol was going to help me the most that night.
Trichotillomania (hair pulling) has decreased.
Jan 3:
Mild pain day. Most pain in elbows, hips. Tingly lips and fingers
(slight). Ankles ache, really I do hurt a little bit almost everywhere
all the time, but I try to ignore it.
Jan 6:
A few sudden bouts of diarrhea and headache that went along with that. Fatigued. Did a good bit of housework, used pacing techniques.
Jan 6-8 Chest wall pain (Costochondritis)
By the 8th, the chest area (on right) only hurt when gently pressed, but before that most movement and even sometimes breathing was painful. No cause of it known, I just woke up with it on Jan 6th.
Jan 8: Had to leave dinner table to go lie down. Sudden fatigue.
