This flu is killing me. I woke up at 4:30 am with bad body aches, throat & ear pain. My arms hurt almost too much to type this. Maybe I should go to the doctor since I've met insurance deductible for 2013. It just takes so much time & energy & we also need to deal with the flat tire. Ugh!
I'm moving into day 3 of this. I can't tell which body aches are flu and which are from Fibromyalgia. My ears are also ringing so hard, I must be going into a flare if I'm not already in it.
I have had a cold for several days and bad laryngitis for at least a couple days. I had one night of not being able to sleep a wink. The next day, I slept 4 hours in the daytime.
Tonight the cough is especially aggravating and keeping me from sleep.
I'm having some chest discomfort on my right side that I think is Fibro related. My legs are more than restless, they're jumpy and jerky. Those will be their names, Jumpy and Jerky!
But the most disconcerting thing tonight is having trouble swallowing. I guess it is because of the sore throat. But even with a sore throat, swallowing has never been something I ever needed to consciously think about - it is generally an autonomic nervous system function.
So I've just had my third Lifesaver candy, trying to keep my throat moist. I think I'll need 10 more to get through the night.
My voice has come back better today. It is hard to keep from talking.
